Visit Pumpkin Jim at his patch in Ickleton, Cambridge, for a fun day out for the entire family. You can spend the day picking your own pumpkins, picking wild flowers, playing in the play area and sampling delicious food from local food trucks. We are open during October half term for the build up to Halloween.
NEWS: It is with great sadness that we have to inform everyone that we will not be opening our PYO patch this year. The relentless drought has left us with such a shortage of pumpkins it has made it non-viable for us to open,
Thank you for your understanding, we will miss you this Autumn but we can't wait to welcome you back for 2026 PYO pumpkins!

PYO patch will not be open in 2025
Pumpkin Jim invites you all to come and pick your own pumpkins this Halloween at his patch in Ickleton! We have many different varieties of pumpkins to pick, from big carvers to delicious squashes. We also have a play area with sandpits, pedal tractors and straw bale pyramids!

We will be open the weekend prior to half term and throughout half term on the build up to Halloween from 10am till 3pm.
There will be food trucks at the patch serving you all great food as well as a our Fat Pumpkin cafe pouring lovely coffee and hot drinks!
We are requesting that everyone books online before coming to the patch this year. Tickets will be available to book from the 1st September!
