All About Pumpkin Jim's

There’s nothing better than taking a break from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and spending some quality time in the great outdoors. At Pumpkin Jim's, located just outside Saffron Walden near Cambridge, you can spend the day picking your own produce or sampling our delicious homemade goods in our Fat Pumpkin cafe.

We are a working family farm and love having visitors come to the farm to pick at the patch. We are passionate about supplying local food and providing a platform for education in the countryside and nature we have on our doorstep. We plant a large variety of pumpkins, whether you are looking for a large carving pumpkin for Halloween or delicious edible squashes to create some locally sourced hand picked meals, we have plenty to choose from. We also plant wild flowers so you can pick your own bunches alongside  seasonal veg for picking or digging. 

We open our patch for pumpkin picking during October half term, the lead up to Halloween. As well as pumpkin picking we have a range of children's fun activities and a play area to make for a really memorable half term day out.  We put on other events in the year, such as the pumpkin planting day. We are looking to expand this and create more educational and fun events for the children through the year. So watch this space for updates on future events!
